What an honest candid description little girl! I am impressed with your honesty! It seems especially funny to read about mood swings, as they appear so ridiculous! Tis true, mood swings strike us all! Mood swings have no age discrimination!
You know what I like best about this subject? As a parent, I want my children to feel happy. Before, if a mood swing showed up, I felt it was my job, to change it. I felt it was my responsiblilty to help my child get back to that good feeling place. I have learned over the years, that mood swings are not the enemy! Yes, that is true, you are reading this accurately! Mood swings are just as valid and bursts of JOY!
Why, you ask me? I think all emotions are valid. Why do we, as humans, label certain emotions as good and certain emotions as bad? Big deal if you are bored, irritated or even angry. It is your bodies way of communicating with you. I have found so much more peace, when I can allow my child to have a mood swing. It feels great to not get effected by it, and to know she will work it out.
I have mood swings. I do not want my mood swings to effect others. It is my journey. I will figure out what is upsetting me. Right?
p.s the funny thing about mood swings is, they can make for great stories!!
That goes with my mood swings! Hello again people of the Milky Way Galaxy.
Topic of March 1st: Mood Swings.
We all have them. I’ve yet to meet one person who hasn’t been in some sort of situation like the following.
Moriah:” Mooooooom, I have nothing to do. The world is BORING. We wake up, we walk around, occasionally talk to a few people, then we die.”
Mom: “Why don’t you go see if one of your little friends can play?”
Moriah: “How could you even say something like that!? I CAN”T because then I have to entertain them which requires using energy! And besides I’m tired of hanging out with my friends all we ever do is talk and play. That’s ALL!”
Mom: “Last time I checked playing and talking was considered fun.”
Moriah: “Well it’s not!”
*Ding Dong*
Moriah: “I’ll get it.”
*opens door*
Moriah’s Friend: “Hey Moriah wanna go to the park, play basketball or something?”
Moriah: ” Sure! I’d LOVE to! Hey mom, I’ll be at the park with Moriah’s friend.”
Mom: “What about what you just said about hanging out with your friends?”
Moriah: “That was then, this is NOW!”
I’ll admit this casinario was only minor mood swingage but it still counts.Usually the mood swings are something along the lines of “Hey Andre’ (my brother) you need any help with your homework?’ Five minutes later “If anyone comes anywhere within a 10 mile radius of me someone, meaning you(Andre’), will be suffering Dire Consequences.”
So What I was wondering is mom (and anyone else out there reading this) if you have had any mood swings that have gotten you into possible sticky (or funny) situations? I’d love to hear about it!

Live, laugh (when someone trips and falls) and *sappy music starts , playing* L♥ve. It’s that time of the year where people go by walking hand in hand and instead of making gagging noises you go “awww” then occasionally make a gagging noise.
Grandpa that’s so sweet! Happy (almost) Valentines day you guys ![]()
My favorite part about Valentines day is watching how people of all ages express their feelings and thoughts about the day. Example:
3rd Graders: Yay Candy!
5th Graders: That’s so Cliche’…oh look candy!
Every age group reacts differently to the day. Every individual person acts differently. Personally I just love seeing my family get all excited about it (mom is always over the top happy). I don’t really care so much about the day itself just about how the people close to me feel on that day…and the chocolate is a plus to (for those of you who don’t know I have a small (huge, maybe even massive) obsession with chocolate (and chocolate covered) treats.).
Happy (almost) Valentines Day everyone!

Valentines
Here it is! Love day! What do think of love day? Are teenager’s enjoying it?
Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday of the year. Did you know that?
Why? good question! The reason I love Valentine’s day is because of my dad. Each year my dad would put chocolates on our morning breakfast plate. We would come down for breakfast and there would be a heart shaped box of chocolates. My siblings and I all got a medium size box. My mom always got a large size box and flowers.
It made me feel like he loves us, and he loves / adores our mom. I always liked the feeling that my dad loved my mom so much!
! I never thought about giving back. It felt like a special time when my dad would flood his love all over us. It felt so special.
I think there are so many types of love to celebrate. Love for your children, love for your friends, love for your pets, and romantic love. The love I think that is the best to celebrate, is the love you feel for yourself! Self Love! I believe when you love yourself, you have so much to give to others!
Happy Love Day World!!
Even though I like (love, have an obsession with) computers my typing in general is still rather slow. Even my fastest typing is like 10 words a minute (that’s exaggerated, sort of). When you add spelling to the equation my average is 8 words a minute. I ALWAYS go back and check my spelling, I even go so far as to look up how to spell a word I’m not sure how to spell. Spell Check is humans best friend.
When I check my spelling:
all the time.
Why I do :
I have no flipping clue.
Side Note: Just found out that there are blue lobsters. Am I the only one who didn’t know this? Why don’t we have a Blue Lobster resturant rather than a Red Lobster? Or better yet the Multicolored Lobster.
As I ponder this I will leave you to do the same. Until next time

MommaMay! ohhh, i like my new nickname!
Grammar, oh what a subject! I could careless! I suppose that is not a very good answer….smile! I am rarely one to correct others and I tend not to get corrected.
When you were younger you never pronounced ‘banana’ accurately. I thought it was adorable! You could have pronounce it wrong your whole life, and I would have always thought it was cute. In fact, I am annoyed at whoever corrected you! laughing!
As you can tell, I don’t have an opinion about grammar. Now let’s talk about typing and spelling. I am a fan of FAST! I like things quick. I type fast and don’t care about spelling and typos. Some people type slow, and do everything properly. Want do you prefer, fast / typos or slow / perfect? I pick FAST every time.
Nice to have you back online sweetie!

Hello people of infinity and beyond! Sorry for the wait. I somehow reset my password, didn’t know it, then had trouble resetting it again. In other words I lost my password for a few months….but I’m back now and inchin to write.
Topic of choice this week, grammar. Don’t go running off screaming with you hands tugging at your hair at the subject (well maybe during language arts class but that’s a whole different blog post). What I mean is how do you use it, grammar I mean. Do you lean toward the supposed ‘proper’ way of speaking or a less restricted path? We all know that person that corrects you when you use slightly improper grammar. Heck, maybe you are one.
For those of you who aren’t do you get annoyed when someone corrects you or do you just blow it off. Do you think of it as some sort of lesson and try to remember to say the term correctly the next time? Do you say things the way you do on purpose?
If you are someone who is doing the correcting why do you feel compelled to do so? When you are reading something, oh say a blog… (hint hint)do you find it harder to read when the writier is not using ‘proper’ grammar’?
The reason I ask is because well, I’m curious. I find myself correcting my little brother when he says something (considered) incorrect. Yet I get bugged as heck when people correct me because I find there is no need to do so. When I’m writing I tend to do so in a conversational kind of way (can anyone say hipocrate?) Am I the only one who has erm… I guess you’d call them ‘grammar swings’?
SO proper grammar yay or nay?
What do you think Mommamay? Have a preference? Any personal experiances?
Side Note: Thanks to everyone who has been patiant and waited for me to figure out the strange ways of internet passwords.
Until next time my wonderful bloders (blog readers. Maybe I should come up with a better nickname for that..)

I have a dream. I find this popular speech to be inspiring. It makes me think of the question, what is my dream? My personal dream, my individual dream?
My dream is to travel, to write, to play, to laugh, to explore and to have fun. It sounds so simple, doesn’t it? It feels like my dream is already alive. I like the idea that I am already enjoying myself, not waiting for some future event to take place, before my happiness can occur.

My Winter Favorites
One, I love it that winter makes you happy! It is always fun to watch you happy.
Two, I love giving you and Andre’ presents. I like watching how much Joy you get with gifts, toys, electronics, books etc. Three, I like all going to grandma’s house. I like the whole everyone is together feeling. Four, I love the outside lights! Driving around and looking at the creation of lights outside is totally Yummy!
It’s December everyone! Which means family fun time has just arrived. Sledding in the snow, skiing, even tubing. Christmas and Hanukkah are just around the corner and then the New Year after that! For me personally this is the most exciting time of year. Christmas songs and carolers with their fun little tunes. Families of snowmen out on the front lawns and snowball forts in the back. The time when everyone comes alive! As you can probably tell(seeing as I made it rather obvious) Winter is my favorite time of year.
So with the winter spirit out and about I wanted to ask everyone what they are looking forward to most about the next few months to come.
Also mom, I wanted to ask you what your favorite time of year and why.
Best Snowy wishes! _MOrIAH
