Susan (Mom Said)Telephone!!

I love the telephone!  I use to watch my mom talk on the telephone.  Back then, there were no cordless phones.  She would have this long telephone cord, and she would walk from kitchen and sit in the rocking chair and chat away.  My mom loved the telephone.  Then my older brothers and sisters started to  talk and talk on the telephone.

The phones back then, had this little piece you could take out, then no one could hear if you were eves dropping.  I always  use to listen in on their conversations!  hahaha  (shhhh don’t tell!)

I have always spent hours and hours on the telephone!  You know your aunt, Kathy, and I can talk many hours in one day!  Just the thought of the telephone makes me Happy!

Texting

hmmm, it’s ok.  I do like it, when I am at work, and I can quick check in at home with texts.  I am not a huge fan of texts.  That little keyboard, yikes!  Remember when we use to watch Brittany text? She can text a mile a minute, PLUS carry on a  verbal conversation!

The other thing, I dislike about texting is it seems so impersonal.  People make plans, dates and arrangements all with texting.  The old fashion kindness and conversation seems to be replaced with speed and efficiency.

I pick a live voice over typed words anyday!

  1. More mothers should be like you. You have raised an intelligent child. Parents should spend more time being parents, and less time trying to be their kids friend, giving them anything they ask for. You obviously spend true quality time with you child, for her to turnout so well

    Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Ahhhhh, What a sweet thing to say!!!!

Those words were written by the dad of Teen Said!! Dad Said!

That’s the best part about it. Keep your vibe to yourself :]

Ever been in a shopping mall or grocery store and you get that queasy feeling your stomach? That’s the mingling of hundreds of un-eased energies. I prefer to keep my distance from all of that.
